Happy and Healthy Stays: Our Pet Promise
48-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that life happens, and we try to be fair about cancellations. Please keep in mind that if you cancel within 48 hours, we will ask you to pay for 50% of your pet’s stay. As a family-run small business, each and every reservation is very important to us and we would typically have filled that spot with another pet, especially on weekend stays. Additionally, if you decide to pick your pet up one or more nights earlier (or drop them off later) than planned, we will charge 50% for those nights.

Dogs
-
All dogs must have a current rabies vaccination to board at our facility.
-
Proof of distemper and parvovirus vaccination is required for all dogs staying at our facility.
-
To maintain a healthy environment for all our canine guests, Premier Pet Lodge requires a Bordetella vaccination at least seven days prior to boarding. While this vaccination is highly recommended to prevent canine cough, it is important to understand that it does not guarantee immunity against all strains of the disease.
To minimize the risk of spreading potential illness, we must adhere to a strict seven-day waiting period following vaccination. This allows sufficient time for the vaccine to take effect and reduces the likelihood of introducing the Bordetella bacteria into our facility.
We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all our guests.
-
All pets must be current on flea/tick products. This policy serves to protect your pet from becoming infected with a parasite.
-
We highly recommend regular use of medication for heartworm prevention.
Cats
-
All cats must have current Rabies and Feline Distemper vaccinations to board at our facility.
-
We recommend a feline Leukemia test prior to your stay.
-
All pets must be current on flea/tick products. This policy serves to protect your pet from becoming infected with a parasite.
-
All animals must be free from external parasites upon arrival. A thorough inspection will be conducted at check-in, and any evidence of parasites will necessitate immediate treatment at the owner’s expense prior to boarding. This policy is essential to maintaining a healthy environment for all our guests. Additionally, we recommend that your pet be protected against heartworm.
We offer boarding services for birds, ferrets, and other small mammals on a case-by-case basis; please inquire about availability and requirements prior to booking.
